A coupling structure and a coupling method for reinforcing bars are provided to couple reinforcing bars by pressurizing many fixing pins simultaneously using a pressurizer, to prevent the separation of fixing pins against external force or impact after connecting and to improve rupture strength for preventing the breakage of a connection caused by an increase in load after placing concrete. A coupling structure for reinforcing bars couples reinforcing bars by inserting two reinforcing bars(30,30') to both sides of a coupling(10) having many insertion holes(11) to make the inside and outside connected with each other, inserting fixing pins(20) into the insertion holes and pressurizing to make the fixing pin drive into the inside of each reinforcing bar. A coupling method for reinforcing bars comprises the steps of: inserting reinforcing bars to both sides of the coupling to make the ends of reinforcing bar meat; inserting fixing pins into many insertion holes formed on the coupling; and driving the fixing pins to the reinforcing bars by pressurizing the fixing pins using a pressurizer(40).
