Provided are a photosensitive resin composition for color filter, which has excellent electric property and can be applied to produce TFT(thin film transistor)-LCD(liquid crystal device) used for television and monitor requiring continuous driving for a long time. The photosensitive resin composition comprises 0.5-10 parts by weight of acrylic binder resin containing carboxyl group, 0.5-20 parts by weight of photopolymerizing monomer, 0.01-5 parts by weight of photopolymerization initiator, 0.1-30 parts by weight of pigment, 20-90 parts by weight of solvent, and optionally 0.01-5 parts by weight of fluorine-based surfactant. The acrylic binder resin is a copolymer of one ethylenically unsaturated monomer having carboxyl group and another ethylenically unsaturated monomer, and has a molecular weight of 3,000-150,000 and an acid value of 20-60 mg/KOH.
