<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent transmission power between base stations from being unbalanced due to asynchronization of balance adjustment when a reception timing of transmission power balance control signals is different because of variation in a transmission delay of the control signals from a control station to each of the base stations in soft handover in a cellular communication system. <P>SOLUTION: When a frame number of a transmission frame to a mobile station is referred to as a CFN and a balance adjustment period is referred to as an Nperiod frame, in response to reception of a control signal, the start of the balance adjustment period is controlled on the basis of a frame with the frame number CFN wherein a relation of mod (CFN, m×Nperiod)=L (where (m) is a natural number, and L is 0 or a natural number smaller than m×Nperiod, which is common to all the base station) holds. Thus, a calculation timing of a succeeding balancing period is synchronized between the base stations to balance the transmission power between the base stations. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
