PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire which more increases compatibility with an eccentric wear resistance and a wet traveling performance (steering stability). SOLUTION: A. A tilting main sipe 2 which extends to one shoulder section, and a tilting main sipe 3 which extends to the other shoulder section are alternately arranged in the tire circumferential direction. B. The tilting main sipes 2 and 3 are formed of central curved groove sections 2c and 3c, shoulder curved groove sections 2s and 3s, and intermediate straight groove sections 2i and 3i. C. A maximum distance h from a line segment connecting both end sections of the central curved groove sections to the central line of the central curved groove sections is set to be 2% or lower of a maximum grounding width W. D. A tilting angleθi of the intermediate straight groove sections is set to be 15 to 25°, and a circumferential projection length Ci of the tire is set to be 4 to 40% of the maximum grounding width W. E. A tilting angleθs of the shoulder curved groove sections is set to be 50 to 60°, a length Ws from the internal end of the shoulder section curved grooves to the end section of the maximum grounding width W is set to be 15 to 25% of the W, and the external end of the shoulder curved groove section is set inside of the end section of the maximum grounding width W.
