<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake device of a vehicle which brakes right side and left side wheels with the same brake torque without exact determination of a friction coefficient between a pad and a disk or determination of a friction torque in one axle. <P>SOLUTION: In a method for operating the brake device having left side and right side self-amplifying type electromechanical disk brakes(10, 34), wherein disk brakes (10, 34) include brake disks (14) and wedge shaped brake shoes (22a, 22b) respectively and the brake shoe is movably supported on an inclined face toward a peripheral direction of the brake disk in a brake caliper (12), supply movement of the brake shoe in a peripheral direction of the brake disk imparts pressing movement to the brake disk, and the brake shoes are respectively moved by electromechanical actuators (29), and supply force of one brake shoe is determined by considering a correction value as a function in an operational state from supply force of the other brake shoe. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
