<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for a substrate which can prevent a fixing part from separating from the substrate due to a non-soldering state of the fixing part, since a displacement restricting means is provided to keep a connecting state by soldering the fixing part against the break-away force between a connector housing and the fixing part. <P>SOLUTION: The connector for a substrate is equipped with the fixing part 60 to fix the housing 10 made of a synthetic resin to the substrate K. The fixing part 60 is made of a metal plate, and after being installed to the housing 10, connected to the substrate K by soldering. An installing groove 15 into which the fixing part 60 is insertable is formed in the housing 10, while a slipping-out preventing part 67 to prevent the fixing part from slipping out by biting into the groove edge of the installing groove 15 is formed. The abutting position of the slipping-off preventing part 67 and the groove edge of the installing groove 15 is set to be at a lower position L2 than a half of the maximum height L1 of the housing 10. This allows the displacement restricting means to keep a solder connecting state of the fixing part 60 to the substrate K against the break-away force, when the break-away force to separate the fixing part 60 from the substrate K acts on the fixing part 60 accompanied by the thermal expansion of the housing 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
