PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat transfer tube for heat dissipation of a CO<SB>2</SB>refrigerant with superior heat transfer performance, inner face groove (fin) workability, and tube expandability, and to provide a radiator with a superior heat dissipation property using the heat transfer tube. SOLUTION: The heat transfer tube for heat dissipation is a heat transfer tube for carrying out cooling by passing high temperature CO<SB>2</SB>through an interior. A plurality of fins 2 are spirally provided on an inner face of the heat transfer tube 1, a height of the fin is 0.03 times or more and 0.06 times or less of an inner diameter of the heat transfer tube 1, and an interval g between adjacent fins 2 is 0.4 mm or more and 6 mm or less. The heat transfer tube for heat dissipation is for a CO<SB>2</SB>refrigerant and has a thick bottom thickness, but since a shape (the height and interval) of the plurality of spiral fins 2 provided on the inner face is properly defined, it can be favorably manufactured by a normal extrusion or drawing method. Since the refrigerant becomes a turbulent state, the heat transfer performance is superior. Since the fins of the shape do not largely collapse during tube expansion, the radiator assembled by using the heat transfer tube for heat dissipation has a superior heat dissipation property.
