PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain large drive torque in spite of a small size. SOLUTION: A brush holder 10 for holding motor brushes 9 that abut on commutators 8 on a rotor shaft 3 is provided on an end cover 2 that closes one end of a motor casing 1. The motor brushes 9 held in the brush holder 10 are made to abut on the commutators 8 in such a way that axial lines of the motor brushes 9 intersect to each other at a prescribed angle other than the right angle with respect to the rotor shaft 3.
