PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shared telephone set to be easily shared by a plurality of users, a shared telephone set control program and a method for controlling the shared telephone set. SOLUTION: The shared telephone set capable of switching telephone numbers in accordance with users is provided with: a user information storage part 16 for storing user information including a telephone number in each user; a public line communication part 13 for performing public line communication, registering telephone numbers stored in the user information storage part 16 in a public line and detecting a terminating call to the registered telephone number; a display part 18 for displaying the user information corresponding to the terminating call out of the user information stored in the user information storage part 16 when the terminating call is detected by the public line communication part 13; and an operation part 19 for receiving an instruction of public line communication from the user and transferring the instruction to the public line communication part 13.
