PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an axial fan capable of saving energy by reducing the power of a motor near a maximum flow. SOLUTION: In this axial fan having the motor in which a blade 2 with a plurality of vanes 6 on the outer peripheral surface of its hub 5 is supported by a rotating shaft, the camber rate of the vanes and an included angleαformed by a straightline connecting a blade center 15 to a vane root center 13, and a straightline connecting the vane root center 13 to the vane end center 14 are set so that the ratio of the maximum value of a flow coefficientϕand a power factorμ.
