PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new means for realizing efficient repair without the use of a form in work for repairing only an upper part of a side ditch body, when the side ditch is repaired. SOLUTION: This construction method comprises: a removal step of removing the upper part of the side ditch body 2 of the existing side ditch to be repaired, at a height corresponding to that of a placement surface of a concrete cover 1a or a grating cover for use after the repair; a construction step of arranging the cover 1a for use after the repair in a prescribed position, of making a form plate 5 with an appropriate thickness provided along a side surface of the cover 1a, and of placing concrete etc. in a cut-off space A; and a finishing step of removing the form plate 5 by pulling up the cover after the solidification of the concrete etc. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
