An optically active compound (I) is reacted with compound (II) to give optically active compound (III), which is subjected to alkali hydrolysis and deprotection when R¹ is alkyl: wherein X is a chlorine atom and the like, and R¹, R² and R³ are each an alkyl group and the like, or racemic compound (I) is reacted with compound (II) to give racemic compound (III), which is asymmetrically hydrolyzed by an enzyme to perform optical resolution, and subjected to alkali hydrolysis and deprotection: wherein X is a chlorine atom and the like and R¹, R² and R³ are each an alkyl group and the like.
