<p>The method involves monitoring the formation of a joining seam by using thermo units, during a welding process. A correction data is produced from data obtained by the units for the guidance of a robot controlled welding torch. The units also detect the directional reflection of heat radiation of a pool crater surface. A digital welding current source (2) is designed on a monitor for detecting welding technical relevant magnitudes. An independent claim is also included for a device for monitoring the quality of a joint connection in a metal inert gas welding process.</p> |
