A door opening/closing device for a refrigerator is provided to translate doors laterally according to movement direction guide in the case of door opening/closing, thereby minimizing contact between gasket assemblies. A door opening/closing device for a refrigerator includes separation units provided between doors and a main body of a refrigerator and having cam elements and cam contact levers for moving centers of rotation of the doors in directions for the doors to be parted from each other. Guide elements(80) have guides(82) for guiding the translation of hinge elements, when the centers of the doors are moved, and elastic elements mounted in the guides for applying elastic force to arms(47) mounted to the guides. The hinge elements connect the doors to the main body, and includes hinge bosses mounted to the doors for serving as centers of rotation of the doors, and the arms rotatively connected to the hinge bosses and connected to the guide units.
