Combined baking oven with microwave with resistance heater located in oven together with microwave generator which are both controlled by controller that has at least one user-activated programme

The baking oven has an oven (2) in which a resistance heater (3a, 3b), for heating the oven, is located. There is a microwave generator (4) for heating of food in the oven and a controller (8) for control of the resistance heater and the microwave generator. The controller has at least one user-activated microwave programme that activates the microwave generator. The controller is designed such that the microwave programme is used for drying of the oven whilst the resistance heater is used for heating of the oven at a temperature as high as 100 degrees Celcius. There may be a temperature sensor (7) either in or around the oven and the controller may be designed such that microwave programme enables the resistance heater to operate for as long as required once the temperature (Tmax) has been registered on the temperature sensor.
