A digital image processing apparatus having a subsidiary display panel is provided to allow a user to conveniently take a picture of a high or low object by setting the subsidiary display panel and a main display panel in a manner that the subsidiary display panel and the main display panel face different directions and efficiently reduce power consumption. A digital image processing apparatus(1) includes a main display panel, an electronic view-finder, and a subsidiary display panel(95). The main display panel and the subsidiary display panel faces different directions.
