A pressure-typed sensing apparatus for width of a vehicle is provided to improve the durability of the upper contact plate by simultaneously operating the elasticity of the resistance body support device when the upper contact plate is contacted or separated. A pressure-typed sensing apparatus for width of a vehicle is composed of a protective frame(50) formed with a groove whose bottom surface is extended to the width direction of the line; an insulating plate laminated at the bottom surface of the protective frame; a resistance body support device(70) laminated at the insulating plate; at least one resistance bodies(81,82) mounted along the line width direction of the resistance body support device; and an upper contact plate(40) downwardly pushed by the pressure of the wheel, contacted with the resistance body, and recovered to the original position by the release of the pressure.
