<p>A flow control valve (10) comprises a valve housing with a flow passage therethrough, an adjustable ball with a flow passage therethrough being disposed in the flow passage downstream of a venturi constriction (29), with fine adjustment means (42:52) in said passage between the constriction and said ball. The constriction is provided by a cartridge (27:27a:27b) secured in the passage. The fine adjustment means are adjustable in a bore (35:35b) in the passage, the bore being defined either by said cartridge (27) providing the constriction, a further cartridge (27b), or by an integral part (51) of the valve body.</p> |
