<p>A printed circuit board assembly comprises a PCB (4, Fig 1) and a component mounted thereon, for example a RF shielding can (6, Fig 1). The component is secured to the PCB by a securing means comprising at least one barb 22. The barbs may extend into an aperture (20, Fig 4) and each have a point 24 which engages with a part of the PCB such as a slug 16. Tabs (60, Fig 15) may be provided next to said barbs.
