METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR MANAGING NEW TERMINAL ACCESSED TO WIRELESS NETWORK

A method and a system for managing a new terminal connected to the wireless Internet are provided to smoothly offer the wireless Internet to a connected mobile terminal in case that device information of the mobile terminal is unregistered to a portal platform for managing the wired/wireless Internet. An information detector(600) obtains subscriber/terminal information of the mobile terminal(100) connected to the wireless Internet. A terminal information manager(500) manages the terminal information of the mobile terminal by linking with the subscriber information and stores the terminal information by setting a default value to information needed for using the wireless Internet if the terminal information matched with the subscriber information is unregistered. An interface(300) provides a protocol for transmitting the terminal information to an external server and a manager terminal(700) requesting the terminal information to provide the wireless Internet. A subscriber manager(400) periodically updates the subscriber information by linking with a provisioning server(150) connected to the system(200) through the network.
