<p>The method involves applying a sub-sampling filter to an input signal by a factor 2k> if k is greater than 0, to generate an intermediate signal. A band-pass filter e.g. finite impulse response filter, is applied to the intermediate signal if k is greater than or equal to 0 and is made short-circuit if k is less than 0, to generate another intermediate signal. The latter intermediate signal is sub-sampled by a preset factor L to obtain a third intermediate signal. A digital data interpolation step is applied to the third intermediate signal to generate an output signal at a sampling rate. An independent claim is also included for a device for implementing a sampling rate converting method.</p> |
