A method for processing a DNS(Domain Name System) query of a mobile communication terminal which supports plural PDP(Packet Data Protocol) sessions and the mobile communication terminal therefor are provided to offer a proper routing routine for a DNS query of an application program. A method for processing a DNS(Domain Name System) query of a mobile communication terminal which supports plural PDP(Packet Data Protocol) sessions comprises the following several steps. A socket processor receives a PDP session identifier of an application program from an application program processor and generates a PDP interface(S100). The socket processor allocates an application program identifier matched with the PDP session identifier. The socket processor stores the matched identifiers(S110). The socket processor receives a DNS query including the application program identifier from the application program processor(S120). The socket processor extracts a PDP session identifier matched with the application program identifier(S130). The socket processor transmits the DNS query through a PDP interface of a PDP session having the same APN(Access Point Name) as an APN matched with the PDP session identifier extracted from preset PDP interfaces(S140).
