A structure for discharging steam of a dish washer and the dish washer are provided to preclude the water from coming in the steam discharge cover and protect the steam discharge system. A structure for discharging steam of a dish washer is composed of an outer cover where at least one steam discharge hole is contained; an inner cover detachably mounted with the outer cover; and a driving apparatus(210) connected to the inner cover to move the inner cover to the front and rear directions. The inner cover contains at least one projection(260) projected to open and close the steam discharge hole. The inner cover has a gasket(290) in which an opening and closing member is formed to open and close the steam discharge hole.
