The appliance has a coupling (3) to couple together of two casings in such a way that a state of the appliance can be selected between two states. The other casing is unfolded relative to the prior casing with a screen display portion (21) pointing in a direction of an input portion in one state. A controller portion rotates the screen display by 90 degrees between the two states based on a detection signal from a detector. The other casing is folded over the prior casing with a face of the other casing opposite to the screen display portion facing a face of the prior casing on which the input portion is provided, in another state. The detector detects a change in the state of the appliance between the two states. |
