Provided is a method for manufacturing popped adlay that has increased tastiness, enhanced moisture resistance, and good chewiness. The method for manufacturing popped adlay comprises the steps of: (1) immersing and soaking selected adlay rice in water for 3 hours; (2) steaming the soaked adlay rice with 100‹C steam; (3) drying the steamed adlay rice to a moisture content of 10% or less using an hot blast dryer of an indirect electric heat mode; (4) expanding the dried adlay rice by a popping machine; and packing the popped adlay in a small size.
