An imaging lens is provided to enhance optical performance by reducing the weight, compensating chromatic aberration, and simplifying the manufacturing process. An imaging lens(1) is for forming an image of an object on an imaging surface(7) of a solid-state imaging device. The imaging lens includes a diaphragm(2), a first lens(3), and a second lens(4). The diaphragm, the first lens, and the second lens are disposed in sequence from an object side towards an image side. The first lens is a meniscus lens having a positive power. A concave surface of the first lens is opposite to the object side. The second lens is a meniscus lens having a negative power. A convex surface of the second lens is opposite to the image side.
