<p>The invention concerns an arresting device for window casements or door leaves for reducing the effect of a compression or shock wave after an explosion. The window casement or door leaf (1) has a casement/leaf profile (3) that accommodates a window pane (2), and is, in turn, accommodated in a door frame or window frame having a frame profile (4) whereby enabling the window casement or door leaf to be opened. According to the invention, a chamber or an additional tube (5) is provided in the casement/leaf profile (3), and a cable or belt (6) is placed inside the additional tube, whereby the ends of this cable or belt are fastened to the door frame or window frame or to a ceiling or wall.</p> |
