An RF(Radio Frequency) signal receiving device for controlling a bias current and a bias current controlling method are provided to control bias currents of each module which constitutes an analog signal processing module by counting error bits sensed by a demodulator. An antenna(310) receives an RF signal. An RF signal processing module(320) processes the received RF signal, and comprises as follows. An analog signal processing module(330) converts the received RF signal into an IF(Intermediate Frequency) signal, and filters a frequency band corresponding to a desired channel of a user from the converted IF signal. A digital signal processing module(350) demodulates the filtered signal, and decodes the demodulated signal. The size of bias currents requested in the analog signal processing module(330) is controlled by the digital signal processing module(350). |
