The apparatus comprises a retaining member 60 for locating at the front of a shelf, the member having a C-shape profile with teeth 62 within the profile engageable with teeth 58 on an inclined hook 48 at the front end of an elongate divider 44. Also engageable with the C profile is an elongate slotted track carrying a product pushing plate with a foot beneath the track carrying an elastic cable wound around one or two rotatable anchor members at least at one end of the track.
