An LCD is provided to improve the alignment of liquid crystals, thereby achieving excellent display quality of the LCD, by forming a dummy capacitor coupling part between a pixel electrode of a direct connection part and a pixel electrode of a capacitor coupling part. A control capacitor electrode(26) is electrically connected to a source electrode(22) of a thin film transistor(20). A storage capacitor electrode(19) is electrically connected to the control capacitor electrode. A direct connection part(16) is electrically connected to the control capacitor electrode. A pixel electrode is disposed to face the control capacitor electrode, wherein the pixel electrode includes a capacitor coupling part(17), which is separated from the direct connection part. A dummy capacitor coupling part(15) is formed between the direct connection part and the capacitor coupling part, and disposed to face the storage capacitor electrode. The dummy capacitor coupling part suppresses the alignment defect of liquid crystals above the capacitor coupling part.
