摘要 The aim of the invention is to remove the excess heat from one of the fuel cells by means of evaporating the product water into steam and the flushing of said steam from the system by means of the oxidizing agent. The fuel cell system further comprises in addition to at least one fuel cell, a downstream evaporative cooler arranged before the cathode and after the anode and which is connected to the condenser for water supply. In order to increase the efficiency of the system a fuel cell stack is advantageously applied. The depleted feedstock emerging from the anode chamber is fed to an evaporative cooler which is also supplied with an oxidising agent and water from a condenser. The heat of the depleted feedstock is transferred to the introduced water in the evaporative cooler which is transformed into steam and taken up by the oxidising agent which is also heated. The mixture of oxidising agent and steam is removed from the evaporative cooler and at least partly recycled to the cathode of the fuel cell. The remaining fraction is released to the environment.
