The door which has a door lock (1) and bolt mechanism (52) also has a lock support (2) fixable on the door and forming a one-piece base component (6) with the grip handle (4). A bolt mechanism support is fixed on the base component where it can be released and changed round for selectively fitting the door lock (1) for a right or left hung door. The base component can be designed as a standard support element for different door locks. The bolt mechanism support has a plate with bores for fitting on a support pin protruding from the base component.
