WATER-COOLED MOLD FOR CONTINUOUS METAL CASTING

The present invention discloses a water- cooling mold for metal continuous casting. The mold includes two narrow water-cooling copper plates and two broad water-cooling copper plates. The upper part of the mold is pouring area, and the lower pad of it is the mold cavity. The form of pouring area is shrunk from the form of hooper to the form of mold cavity, i.e. the form of casting billet. The inside surface of narrow copper plate is a smooth plane. The inside surface of the broad copper plate is a curved plane in pouring area, and is a soomth plane in mold cavity. The curve part and the plane part of the broad copper plate are continuous and smooth.
