Provided are a cerium ion-containing solution, in which trivalent cerium ions are present stably at a pH higher than 1, preferably a pH higher than 2, particularly a pH of 4-7 and cerium compound precipitation does not occur, and an anti-corrosive agent using the same. The cerium ion-containing solution comprises: trivalent cerium ions; and any one material selected from the group consisting of: an organic acid or a salt thereof having reduction activity at an acidic region and used in a molar ratio of 0.001-1 times based on the cerium ions; a material other than the organic acid, which has reduction activity at an acidic region; and a material having chelating activity at an acidic region. The cerium ion-containing solution has a pH of 1-7.
