An electrical connector having improved connecting performance is provided to securely combine a shielding housing and a clamping member and uniformly fix portions of a clamping member. An electrical connector(100) includes a main body(10), a shielding housing(40), a plurality of conductive terminals(20) and a clamping member(30). The clamping member and the conductive terminals are opposite to each other and fixed to the inside of the main body. The shielding housing is inserted into the main body in a direction opposite to the insertion direction of the clamping member. The clamping member includes a plurality of compressing connecting pieces. Elastic pieces of the shielding housing are superposed on the compressing connecting pieces on an upper slot inside the main body and the elastic pieces interfere with the compressing connecting pieces to prevent the clamping member and the shielding housing from being separated from the main body. |
