A cylinder built-in-type collet chuck is provided to improve the safe clamping performance of an object and prevent the safety accident by receiving the air from the compression air supply unit and selecting the clamping and the unclamping by the collect. A cylinder built-in-type collet chuck(100) comprises an arbor(103) connected by an adaptor(102) to be rotated with a main shaft(101); a collet; a sleeve(107) installed to be rotated with the arbor; a collet cover(108) inserting the collet into a collet hole and clamping the collet; a rear housing(112) mounted with a rear cover(111); a front housing(113) finished by a front cover(114); a cylinder(115) formed between the rear and front housings; a piston(116) placed at the cylinder and finished by a piston cover(117); a bearing; and clamping and unclamping connectors(120,121) connected with an operating path(122) to select the clamping and unclamping.
