THE TRAFFIC CARD AND SETTLEMENT METHOD WHICH USES THE USB AND THE RFID-CHIP

A transportation card using a USB(Universal Serial Bus) and an RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification) chip, and a settlement method thereof are provided to enable a user to charge the transportation card or pay a charge with the transportation card anywhere and anytime by connecting to the Internet with a USB connector, and charge/use a self-charging battery by using the USB. The USB connector(110) provides an interface for enabling the transportation card to connect with the Internet by connecting to a terminal connected to the Internet. A USB hub(120) interfaces information stored in a flash memory(140) and a smart card with a terminal or the Internet by using the USB connector. A UFD(USB Flash Drive) controller(130) provides the interface for storing the information processed in the terminal or the Internet to the flash memory. A smart card controller(150) provides the interface for charging the transportation card and paying the charge with the transportation card in the terminal or the Internet. A smart chip(160) stores the information such as an amount charged in the transportation card, electronic cash, an electronic payment tool, and transportation mileage.
