A broadcasting receiving information providing method in a mobile communication terminal capable of receiving broadcasting signals and a mobile communication terminal are provided to transmit optimized broadcasting receiving information for receiving DMB signals under an optimized condition from a switching system at the request of a terminal. A terminal including a GPS(Global Positioning System) transmits information received from a GPS satellite to a switching system(S301). The switching system produces the value of current position information(S303), calculates the distance and angle between the position of the terminal and the position of a DMB transmission station based on the value of the current position information(S305), and transmits optimized broadcasting receiving information for the current position of the terminal to the terminal(S307).
