Metallocene compounds and process for the preparation of propylene polymers

A metallocene compound of formula (I) wherein M is zirconium, hafnium or titanium; X is hydrogen, halogen, or a hydrocarbyl radical optionally containing heteroatoms; R², R³, R⁴ and R⁵, are hydrogen or hydrocarbyl radicals; R⁶ is a hydrocarbil radical; L is a divalent bridging group T is a radical of formula (II), (III), (IV) or (V), wherein R⁸ and R⁹ are a hydrogen atom or a hydrocarbyl radical. with the proviso that at least one group among R¹, R⁵, R⁶ and R⁸ is a group of formula C(R¹¹)₂R¹² wherein R¹¹, equal to or different from each other, is an hydrocarbyl radical; and R¹² is hydrogen or an hydrocarbyl radical. These compounds are fit for the preparation of propylene copolymers.
