An air conditioner is provided to display various art works or photographs on a front surface of an indoor unit, thereby serving as a piece of furniture. An air conditioner includes a front frame, and a base coupled with a rear part of the front frame and formed with at least one or more outlets for discharging room air. A panel element is mounted to the front frame with a predetermined distance from a front surface of the front frame, and has at least two or more attachment plates(212) inside to attach pictures or photographs thereon. The attachment plates are mounted on a decoration panel(210) by being wound for a predetermined section at supporting parts(214) of the decoration panel, wherein exhibition is changed by moving the attachment plates. Stepping motors(216) supply rotation force to wind the attachment plates to the supporting parts. |
