A service method for supplying communication state information in real time and a system therefor are provided to offer the current communication state information of a receiving terminal to an originating terminal in real time through an SMS(Short Message Service) message or a quick voice, if the receiving terminal is in busy state or remote congestion occurs owing to a lot of traffic in a connection path when the originating terminal demands a call to the receiving terminal. An originating mobile terminal(210) demands a call to the other party's terminal(212) through a mobile communication network, or receives communication state information on the other party's terminal(212) through the mobile communication network. An information service server(230) provides the communication state information on the other party's terminal(212) to the originating terminal(210) if the other party's terminal(212) is not able to respond to the call demand. An information service DB(232) stores the communication state information on the other party's terminal(212) or the originating terminal(210) as data, and updates the stored communication state information at certain time intervals.
