FIELD: metallurgy, namely method and apparatus for lubricating rolls at continuous inter-roll casting of metallic strips. ^ SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of applying at least one lubricating agent onto rolls. Lubricating agent contains liquid carrier and release lubricant. Composition of lubricating agent is corrected at applying it onto rolls without changing its flow rate. Apparatus for lubricating rolls of plant for continuous inter-roll casting of metallic strip includes unit for applying at least one lubricating agent onto rolls and unit for correcting composition of lubricating agent at applying it onto rolls. ^ EFFECT: improved quality of metallic strips, stable process for applying lubricating agent. ^ 42 cl, 9 dwg, 1 ex |
