Provided is a pull-on type disposable wearing article by using an absorbent bat structure, thereby preventing user's excretions from being leaked to a user's crotch by using elasticity of a crotch side sheet. The disposable wearing article has a chassis(15) having a vertical axis and a horizontal axis crossed to each other and an absorbent bat structure(16). The chassis has a forward waist section(12), made of a thermoplastic non-woven fabric, having a forward waist band portion, a backward waist section(13) having elasticity in the horizontal axis direction and a backward waist band portion, a crotch section(14) having elasticity in the vertical axis direction, a recessed winding portion outwardly formed on both end edge portions of the crotch section in a constant depth, and a base sheet having a first outer sheet and a second outer sheet.
