摘要 A ferrite stainless steel manufacturing method capable of significantly improving surface defects by suggesting continuous casting temperature of Ti added ferrite stainless steel that can fundamentally prevents surface defects due to titanium oxides and nitrides when manufacturing Ti added ferrite stainless steel containing 11 wt.% of Cr is provided. In a manufacturing method of Ti added ferrite stainless steel, a method of manufacturing ferrite stainless steel with improved surface quality comprises simultaneously controlling a nitrogen concentration to 100 ppm or less and controlling temperature of molten steel contained in tundish so that a difference between a precipitation temperature of titanium nitride(TiN) and temperature of molten steel contained in the tundish becomes 35 deg.C or more in order to prevent precipitation of titanium nitride(TiN), wherein an addition amount of Ti is controlled such that a Ti/[C+N] ratio becomes less than 10, and wherein 0.10 to 0.30 wt.% of Ti and 11 wt.% of Cr are added to the ferrite stainless steel.
