<p>A refrigerant control device for an air conditioner is provided to form an independent flow path for an operating compressor by keeping suction and discharge parts of stopped compressors at a uniform low pressure, thereby reducing power consumption of the stopped compressors. A refrigerant control device for an air conditioner includes a plurality of suction and discharge pipes(33,34/35,36) for refrigerant flow with respect to compressors(31,32). A collecting pipe(37) collects refrigerant from the discharge pipes to supply the refrigerant to a condenser(23). A plurality of control valves(41,43) are mounted to the discharge pipes for controlling the refrigerant. A plurality of assistant pipes(42,44) are respectively connected to the control valve and a conveying pipe for making front and rear end pressure of the compressors uniformly low. The control valves connect the discharge pipes to the assistant pipes to change refrigerant paths according to operation states of the compressors.</p> |
