A method for simplifying a network resource management process is provided to suppose a circumstance where buffer tuning and parallel sockets are simultaneously used within a range that maximum buffer size defined in a system is allowed, and to use a systemized access form using a regression analysis method, thus optimum buffer size and the number of parallel sockets can be quickly and simply calculated. Relation among the number of sockets, the size of a buffer, and transmission delay having a correlation coefficient on a network is modeled(S10). A change of a transmission rate in accordance with change of the number of sockets, the size of a buffer, and transmission delay for determining coefficient is measured(S20). A sample of the number of sockets and the size of a buffer showing maximum transmission on the network is extracted(S30). The first regression is induced by using a regression analysis application program(S40). The relation is complemented through multi-regression analysis including transmission delay in the network(S50).
