The extinguisher (1) consists of a gas generator (2) in the form of a chamber (10) with an outlet (16) and a block of a pyrotechnic material (12) that generates a propellant gas containing at least 20 per cent nitrogen and/or carbon monoxide and/or carbon dioxide. It has a distributor (4) for the generated gas, a gas pressure regulator (20), and a combustion initiator (14) with a controller (22). A variant of the design can have a number of gas generators. |
