FIELD: building, particularly to design and erect diaphragm walls for different structures, namely for pits, underground passes, tunnels and foundations with the use of building blocks. ^ SUBSTANCE: diaphragm wall comprises building blocks made as reinforced concrete bodies. Gaps between building blocks are filled with concrete. Building units comprise end, face and side surfaces. Each side surface is provided with longitudinal groove and two extensions. At least one extension of building block has side surface with thickness varying along extension length. The extension consists of at least two parts in extension length direction. Each extension part has side surface thickness, which decreases along extension part length up to value equal to minimal thickness of side surface of above extension and then increases up to value equal to maximal thickness of side surface of above extension part. ^ EFFECT: increased load-bearing capacity of diaphragm wall. ^ 12 cl, 14 dwg, 3 tbl
