A rapid impulsion type ventilation system for removing smoke is provided to remove smoke in a short time to secure sufficient sight even in the case of fire in a sealed space. A rapid impulsion type ventilation system for removing smoke includes pollution sensors mounted to a ceiling and walls of an underground parking lot, and normal ventilation fans formed of exhaust fans and air supply fans for ventilating indoor places via exchange between room air and atmospheric air. A rapid impulsion type ventilation fan(50a) has a housing(51) provided with air inlet/outlet portions(52) at both ends and a driving fan(53) attached between the air inlet/outlet portions to be driven by power supply. A CPU controls rotation direction of the driving fan of the rapid impulsion type ventilation fan toward the normal ventilation fans in the proximity of the pollution sensors having measurement values higher than a set value.
