This invention relates in general to the method of harnessing the power of wind to generate electricity, pump air/water, operate machinery, do work, and the like. The method varies the catch area that catches the wind, the catch area having a variable catch factor. In particular, the method varies the shape, size, plane, surface area, texture, and any combinations thereof, of said catch area. Furthermore, the method varies the work efficiency in transforming wind ener gy to other forms of energy. |
